Salutation

Post by Theud »

Hello good people,

My name is Thibault, from the land of Burgundy in France, and I live in Ähtäri for few years ago. I speak a little bit Finnish, but I'm far from perfection ! I'll spare you and speak English most of the time. In the life, I'm a forester and I do reenactment and shows at the viking band of Faravidin Sudet from Ilmajoki.
I play airsoft since last spring in France, with WW2 gears : equipments and clothes from the FFI (Interior French Forces, unified resistance), and I more or less plan to set up uniforms from the French infantry from 1939, or from the 1st Army of FFL (Free French Forces) from 1944-1945. But those parts of uniforms are hard to find and prices are scaring. So let's see if I get time for recreating the Wehrmacht's Feldgendarme or Paratrooper, which might be much easier. Anyway, I'm never in lack of ideas and I'm very open.

I try to visit you some day in Jalasjärvi to see if there some fun to get. :thumbsup

PS : I didn't find any introducing topic for new arrivants. Please move the message to the right place if it exists. ^^
PPS : Thibault sounds like Tibo !

Good day to you dear sir!

We have had some international players in our games - all of them exchange students if I recall correctly - and I bid you welcome to come and play in the events JVI.Soft organizes every saturday. Last year we had an italian student playing in my squad and it was a fun whiff of internationalism to our airsoft culture. Most finns speak rather fluent english too so it wont be a problem neither, well, I'm not that sure about the little people:E Nevertheless I am undisputed that you find good company to play with!

It's ok anyway. Mä puhun Suomea kuin Espanjalaisen lehmää, but I can still communicate. Your little people can stop shaking, sir.

Where do you usually supply in replicas ? The few websites in Finland I found don't give a lot of choices.

Welcome to the forum! As far as I know, there is no newcomer's corner here in our forum.
To list a few shops:
http://www.airsoftnurkka.fi
http://www.milgear.fi
http://www.pcb-airsoft.com
http://www.muovisotilas.fi Horribly overpriced....
http://www.proairsoft.com
http://www.nemesis.fi
Some people like to order their guns from Hong Kong or from European countries.

For used guns, http://www.juoksuhauta.net is the best place. The sales section is the "Myydään" one. I'd think that most sellers would speak atleast moderate English. We also have trade section here in JVI.soft forum.

I try to pass to Pääsiäinen game, if I got time. I miss laying on the mud. Who will be responsible of the event ? Then I can contact him.
